La Empanada es Ideal Para un buen Desayuno o para la cena, esta comida caribeña es perfecta para todos no distingue entre profesiones, edades o clases sociales se degustada de manera cautivadora.

Se basa en un envoltorio o pastel delgado y crujiente elaborado a partir de masa de harina de maíz precocida con agua, sal, un puntito de azúcar o papelón (piloncillo) y un poquito de onoto para darle color; el relleno puede variar, los mas populares son: Queso, Jamon, Pollo, Carne entre otros.
